Matt Long - Producer/Actor:

(Soldiers of Embers, Wanderers of War)

When I formed Bulldog Films and wrote my first full length feature film ‘Soldiers of Embers’, I knew I needed a director that is both passionate about what they do and also someone who I could trust. I knew from my first meeting with Danny that I had made the right choice. Danny has an amazing eye for detail. He will not cut corners and always wants perfection. He is very organised and comes onto a set fully prepared; this helped me a lot on shoot days as I clearly knew from Danny’s work exactly where everything and everyone should be. He is firm on set and knows what he wants whilst still being easy to work with. I am pleased that Danny has a good sense of humour, this makes the entire process fun which is important on those long filming days. I have no doubt that Danny will make it big in the Industry and I look forward to working on other projects with him.

James Rogers - Composer/Sound Designer:

(Gemini, Beneath a Neon Tide, Anomie)

Danny has always impressed me with his film making talents with how he pulls the audience into a story through his direction on sound, colour and movement. His attention to detail and understanding of using music in his films makes communicating on the direction of the score as easy as it could be. Always a pleasure working with such a talented director.

Sam Hoggarth - Director of Photography:

(Beneath a Neon Tide, Fighting Heart, Blaze of Gory - Sick Little Boy Segment)

Danny is a very good director with a terrific vision for film. He is someone who always knows what he wants from a project. He is a fantastic creative person who constantly sees things from a different perspective to make a film fresh and exciting. Danny is a wonderful young talent with a passion to continually improve and has demonstrated he can create fantastic work from limited budgets and resources. Danny is a director to watch.

Reg Length - Composer:

(Life's a Bench, Signs of Silence)

Danny is a very accomplished writer and director. His imagery alone is so sharp and rich, and his story telling simply brilliant. I got hooked on his style watching his earlier works including “Valentine” and now I’m honoured to be collaborating with such incredible talent.

Ivan Moy - Actor:

(Ren, Accident Man, Becoming Grim)

As an actor I worked for Danny on his feature film No More Lights in the Sky which he both wrote and directed. His passion and love for what he is doing clearly shows through and his enthusiasm is infectious. He is a good collaborator and listens to any input you might have. He also communicates well his own vision for a scene if you need it. He runs a happy and relaxed film set and soon puts you at ease. I would definitely recommend him and would personally work for him again if asked.
